Construction – The bollard features a top housing made of cast aluminum for rapid heat dissipation and superior day form. Its lower housing is constructed from heavy
seamless extruded aluminum and features a 4″ O.D. shaft that attaches to the base using stainless steel fasteners. The rugged corrosion-resistant extruded aluminum base is designed to mount to the foundation with three anchor bolts and features a pliable 1/2″ thick neoprene leveling pad for sealing against water and dirt ingress.
Optics -The Bollard uses advanced LED technology with precision injection-molded acrylic for glare control and visual comfort. Available in a general-purpose symmetric distribution with standard 4000K CCT, optional 2700K,3000K,5000K minimum 70 CRI. The result is a high-quality, uniform illumination that is both energy-efficient and visually appealing.
Mounting – To ensure maximum stability, The bollard luminaire is mounted to 3 x 1/2″ anchor bolts on a 2-3/8″ bolt circle, which can withstand a 600 pound overturn moment. To simplify installation, anchor bolts and installation template are available for purchase separately as AB Anchor.
